DEXIS™ TITANIUM BY KAVO — ALL THE RIGHT MOVES
DEXIS™ Titanium by KaVo — all the right moves

On social media lately, dentists have been seen dancing to the song, “In My Feelings,” which has been dubbed “In My Fillings,” when dentists perform the dance routine. The dentists playfully dance to the song in their office and show that they are up on the latest trends, and they have all the right moves. When it comes to the newest sensor technology, DEXIS™ Titanium by KaVo has a new feature that will catch dentists’ attention because it works with all the right moves. You can expect to be wowed by its SMART Feature, motion activation that allows you to capture X-rays by making a gesture and without touching your computer. Inspired by current cell phone technology, this saves time and offers new and exciting workflow options to your team.

Here’s how this unique feature works. The motion detection device in the sensor triggers different types of series —up-and-down motion for vertical bitewings; horizontal back-and-forth for horizontal bitewings; a circular motion for FMX, triangular motion to go back in the series, and a C-motion to cancel the series.  This adds efficiency, so you can attend to your patients’ needs quickly and easily.

In every facet, the DEXIS Titanium has been designed to deliver excellence in the areas that dentists value most. Because imaging is such an important part of diagnostics, reliability is key to keeping the appointment moving along. Titanium incorporates the most modern durable materials for remote sensor health diagnosis, and it is engineered to withstand impact and help eliminate failure. The cable has been redesigned, so that its outer cover better handles external forces like biting, twisting, tugging, and it eliminates cable drag and tangling. The sensor is so exceptionally reliable, that we include a unique unconditional replacement warranty.

Of course, imaging quality is paramount, and the new DEXIS Titanium sensor, like is predecessor, continues to capture consistent, high-quality images with improved tissue contrast across a broader spectrum of radiation levels especially low doses. New components are integrated using proprietary methods that give a distinct advantage in image quality.

Even though DEXIS is moving on to new technologies, we retained the features that have always made our sensors stand out from the rest. We are proud to continue the legacy of providing the best in intraoral digital imaging, with such aspects as the TrueComfort™ design of the PerfectSize™ sensor that allows for utmost comfort and the use of one sensor for the capture of all intraoral images.

Capturing the best images so you can confidently diagnose patients’ conditions and provide them with a positive radiographic experience has always been the primary goal of our sensor technology. Now, with our new motion activation feature, we move into a new area of innovation. We’ve got the moves that will keep you taking all the right steps to using SMARTer Science for your practice.
